Unfortunately: Daft Punk’s ‘Random Access Memories’ has leaked!

It started with 15 second clips. From a shortened radio edit of “Get Lucky” to listening party phone recordings, we remained unsatisfied and impatient. After rubbernecking at every “leak” like it was a Final Destination collision, Daft Punk fanatics (like myself) can finally rest those stiff shoulders and enjoy the sensual massage of Random Access Memories. Ahead of iTunes’ pre-order free stream, savvy computer jocks have ripped the individual symphonies and publicized the 192 kbps arrangement.

Stream Random Access Memories below and then buy the album on iTunes because something this good deserves your full support.

Prok & Fitch [4.12.2013]

Rumor Presents… PROK & FITCH

Tipped by the national media as ‘One’s To Watch’, Beatport’s Artist tip in 2010, and rave reviews throughout 2011, Prok & Fitch have more than proved the journalists’ predictions right. The hottest DJ/producer pairing in house music have chalked up an impressive array of achievements over their 6 years working together, with annual worldwide tours from Brazil to Australia alongside their full international DJ diary.

Now focusing on their original productions, Ben Prok and James Fitch’s works have been signed to some of the biggest names in the business: Axtone, Great Stuff, Toolroom Records, CR2, Stealth, 303Lovers and more. With serious and diverse support from the likes of Carl Cox to the Swedish House Mafia, Pete Tong to Tiesto there’s few clubs worldwide which haven’t witnessed the Prok & Fitch reaction.

The boys have also been remixing for some heavy duty names including Laidback Luke, Moby and Strictly Rhythm. Their own imprint, Floorplay Music continues to sign strong projects too, notably a smash from ATFC & David Penn – there’s no doubt that Prok & Fitch is becoming the byword for superior skills in quality house music. As 2012 kicked off the label approached 30 release’s & some great new music releases scheduled throughout the year.

Floorplay Music is much more than a record label though – it’s a way of life! Floorplay parties have quickly become stuff of late night legend. What started off as a small label showcase night has turned into regular roadblocks and sell outs in Brighton, Dubai and London. The Guardian, Mixmag, IDJ and DJ magazine have all proclaimed Floorplay to be the ‘best night in the South’ and it’s easy to see why – guests have included Dirty Vegas, Chris Lake, Mark Knight… the list just goes on.

In the DJ booth, it’s all about the groove with these guys, whether they are on a line up with the underground crew keeping it deep and dark or playing in the big main rooms for the masses, their versatility and acceptance across genres has been key to their success to date! Rocking mainstages at the infamous Sunburn Festival in Goa & many other festival’s, playing at some of he most prestigious clubs in the world: Amnesia in Ibiza, Sankeys in Manchester, Pacha in Sao Paolo and Circus in Montreal. It’s difficult to find a country that they haven’t visited in the past 12 months.

2012- is shaping up very nicely, with there’s busiest DJ diary to date, hotly anticipated releases on Floorplay, Great Stuff & Toolroom in the first quarter of the year. Expect collaborations with Filthy Rich, Rene Amesz, Marco Lys & more all the ingredients are in place for 2012 to be their best year yet…..

1 Year Anniversary of Rumor – Sander Van Doorn [9.21.2012]

Some people call Sander a technical & musical genius. And who can deny it? He has cranked out more dance floor destroyers, sold-out gigs, number one records, and awards than most artists do in a lifetime.

With the help of classics like Grasshopper, Punk’d and Riff, recent hits like Love is Darkness and ofcourse massive collabs and remixes of The Killers (Spaceman), Sia (The Girl You Lost To Cocaine), Robbie Williams (Close My Eyes) and Depeche Mode (Peace) Sander shrugged off the confines of genre typecasting long ago and created something he preferres to call ‘SvD-style’.

Besides his busy production schedule, Sander has worked tirelessly to bring his radioshow ‘Identity’ and his clubbing concept, Dusk till Doorn to fruition. And if this mountain of accomplishments were not enough, he somehow makes time to produce his quarterly ‘how-to’ show called ‘Studio Sessions’ on his YouTube channel (SanderVanDoornTV).

With a tour diary that sees the superstar play to more than a million fans each year, there’s no doubt that Sander van Doorn is one of dance music’s favorite sons. Within just a few years, Sander has blasted his way to the top. And this is only the beginning.

Justin Sheppard @ Rumor

Rumor Presents…

Few DJ’s can say they have accomplished so much in the beginning of their careers as Justin Sheppard. Gifted with an innate musical talent from his biological father Rick Sheppard, one of the original singers from the world famous 1960’s Atlantic recording group “The Drifters”, and his mother an entrepreneurial entertainment pioneer, it was destined that his career would follow suit. Originally from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, Justin trekked to Miami in 2003, eventually straying from his corporate American computer background. In 2006 he decided to follow his heart and delve into the DJ craft. Only two months after learning how to spin, Justin was offered his first gig opening for Deep Dish protégé Cedric Gervais on Sundays at Miami’s hottest club Suite, achieving much respect right from the start, in this difficult industry.

Justin has quickly become a staple in South Florida nightlife after helming a 2 year residency at Suite Nightclub, performing at Miami’s hottest clubs such as America’s #1 dance club SPACE, LIV, Arkadia, Mansion, Prive, Set, Cameo (formerly Crobar), Louis, and Mokai, as well as continuing to build his other major US & International residencies that have included Dominican Republic & L.A. amongst others. To date, Justin’s supersonic skills have landed him performances along side countless global superstar DJ/Producers such as Kaskade, Fatboy Slim, Dirty South, Sander Kleinenberg, Ferry Corsten, Fedde Le Grand, Sharam (Deep Dish), Mark Knight, Desyn Masiello, Calvin Harris, Markus Schulz, Wally Lopez, Joachim Garraud, Robbie Rivera, Martin Solveig, Chris Lake, Arno Cost & Norman Doray, Gabriel & Dresden, Armand Van Helden & many many more. And if that wasn’t enough, Justin also created and produced the wildly infamous Versace Mansion Pool Parties in 2008, and currently four years running of “RX Pool Parties” the massive #1 weekly pool party in South Beach featured nationally on the Travel Channel in the USA. Over 250,000 people in the last three years have experienced Justin’s music on the decks at RX Saturdays at The Perry Hotel’s Rooftop Pool, where he holds residency as head DJ and owner. Whether it’s entertaining the likes of Carmen Electra and Dina Lohan which landed him in NYC’s Page Six international celeb news, or performing with celebrities such as Ludacris, Justin has done it all in five short years and now rocks numerous clubs and events around Miami & the USA regularly.

Now in 2011, Justin hits the ground running with new music productions soon to be released on the highly anticipated Space Records label, and a new DJ residency with America’s #1 Dance Club Space Miami; two of the world’s premiere dance music stages. Influenced by the likes of Daft Punk, Desyn Masiello, Erick Morillo, Sasha and BT, Justin is beginning to make major waves in this vast sea of house music. Stay tuned and follow this young man’s budding career, because rocking dance floors until the wee hours of the morning is just the beginning….

M.I.K.E. @ Rumor

Rumor Presents…

M.I.K.E. became captivated early on in his childhood with the synth-pop sounds of the 80’s, which were brought on by band icons such as Depeche Mode and legendary synth master Jean Michele Jarre. His plans to follow in their footsteps and bring dance music to a different level didn’t fall short when he went on to release one of his timeless anthems, ‘Universal Nation’ followed by ‘Strange World’!
As the list continued, creating such hits brought on major appeal by huge names like Moby, Ferry Corsten, Armin van Buuren, Gareth Emery and so much more – which of whom M.I.K.E produced impressive collaborations and remixes for.
As time passed and M.I.K.E.’s name spread, popular demand began to expand rapidly worldwide! From the UK, to cities all around Europe & straight across the Atlantic & into North America and down Latin America, Asia and Australia – Ministry of Sound, DanceValley, Tomorrowland, Trance Energy, Winter Music Conference – were some of the prestigious venues that till this day M.I.K.E. is noticed for as a top leading performer/DJ.
And we wonder, where does he find the time to make so many hit releases? Through the wave of fans, the touring, atmosphere and passion for music are what tell the stories behind each of his exceptional tracks labeled under monikers Push, Plastic boy, to his most widely used name – M.I.K.E.
And now teaming up with labels such as Sirup Music, High Contrast Records, Garuda Music, and Armada Music, he continues introducing fresh new sounds with edge & a twist of progressive and club house for a totally modish blend. You can grab a taste on his weekly radio show ‘Club Elite Sessions’, also heard on various stations worldwide including SiriusXM and Digitally Imported Radio.
